Wow what a fireworks display we had here in Elfin Cove! 100% the fault of Matt C. From Juneau!! He ordered them and hauled them out here and lit the fuses for us! When is the best time to fish in Alaska?? We always get asked this question. I always struggle with an answer cause sometimes it is late August other times it is June. Today my answer is right now!!! Fishing is really good right now. King Salmon are doing really good, silvers are here also, halibut seem really hungry right now and they are big. Weather has been great the past few days.
