Wind was the big story this week. We had really ugly fishing conditions on the salmon grounds. The biggest halibut for the week was 104 lbs. The halibut catch was way down this week. We had another halibut landed on a salmon rod. Fishing for rock fish with light tackle can be fun when an 81 lb halibut decides to take the bait. Tera was patient and took her time and landed the big lunker. We went up Idaho Inlet hoping to find some silvers but did not see any. Fall is definitely here! Time to fly south!
