What a week we have had!! The week started with a 152lb Halibut caught only a few miles from the lodge, what an exciting catch!! Daily limits of halibut, rock fish, ling cod and the list goes on!! It rained most of the week but if you ask those who were here...they didn’t notice because they were so busy catching fish. The weather continues to be cold and wet and the salmon fishing has been slower than in past years but has steadily picked up each day. The halibut fishing was so hot all week that fishing for salmon was put on the back burner. Guests were releasing halibut after halibut until their arms were sore. What a fun week! We finished off the week with the guests purchasing Dungeness crab and eating them until their bellies cried out...NO MORE!
