When is the best time to fish in Alaska?? We always get asked this question. I always struggle with an answer cause sometimes it is late August other times it is June. Today my answer is right now!!! Fishing is really good right now. King Salmon are doing really good, silvers are here also, halibut seem really hungry right now and they are big. Weather has been great the past few days. I love June! King salmon are in and doing great. Snow is all finally gone from the lower elevations. Amazing to see thos big piles of snow each day shrink and eventually dissapear. Lots of work going into getting ready.
