Snow is all finally gone from the lower elevations. Amazing to see thos big piles of snow each day shrink and eventually dissapear. Lots of work going into getting ready. We have all the boats in the water and have moved them to their summer home in Elfin Cove. Still lots to do to get ready before the first guests arrive. Ice in the harbor! 28 degrees! Brrrr! But it warmed up to almost 50 yesterday. The sun felt really good. No fishing this week we are doing a bit of construction for more crew quarters. I did get something from the ocean to eat though. We were in Juneau last week working on the new boats and there was a fisherman selling crab in Auke Bay. We woke up to springtime in Utah this morning, which means we’re getting closer to heading to Alaska. Kelly will begin the migration north soon, as he heads up to start construction.
