When is the best time to fish in Alaska?? We always get asked this question. I always struggle with an answer cause sometimes it is late August other times it is June. Today my answer is right now!!! Fishing is really good right now. King Salmon are doing really good, silvers are here also, halibut seem really hungry right now and they are big. Weather has been great the past few days. I love June! King salmon are in and doing great. They are all coming from down the coast past Yakobi Rock, does not seem to matter what you use they seem to be hitting on everything, I have heard reports of 100’ down and some were caught on a dispy diver.
