June 4th week

You always want the first week to start off with a bang and perfect weather. Well, that did not exactly happen. We had a 30 kt wind storm for three days. Monday Tuesday Wednesday were all very windy days and made for very tough fishing conditions. Thursday & Friday were much better for wind and the catch limits were very much improved. Kings were not great this week. Halibut was slow because of the wind. There were 4 over 100 lbs biggest was 131 lbs. Friday was the best week for Kings, the Cowboys brought in 3 beautiful kings, we also had one boat with 18 Silvers/Coho on Thursday. Hopefully next week will be better.
