Calm water, blue skies! That was the theme for the best weather week of the summer! Open ocean was very calm this week and the fishing was excellent.

Silver/coho bite was beyond amazing at times. Nearly constant action and aerial acrobatics. Chris said 'this was the best Silver fishing' he has ever seen in front of Three Hill Island. We had many Coho over 15 lbs. This might be the peak of the Silver run but we expect another month of excellent coho fishing.

Halibut are getting a bit harder to find. Two weeks ago on Friday we had a huge batch of Halibut brought in. This week was a repeat we had a bunch of Halibut come in on Friday. Tom & Brett brought in 108, 91, 74,73 on Friday. Many other big halibut came in too. The streams are all loaded with Pink Salmon and are fun to catch and release.

We are very excited to announce that next summer we are expanding and will be adding another lodge in Elfin Cove. It is a bit smaller with just 12 guest beds but will offer the same feeling of home and service that you expect when fishing with Waters Edge Lodge.
