Mossy Ridge guests just left Elfin Cove on the Noble Eagle headed for Juneau. Was a fun group, we had a few new guests but many have fished with us many years. Adam Eakle was here he brought some nice weather with him. Biggest halibut this week was 151 lbs. Caught by Mark and Leslie, they gave us a good example of sticking with it and not giving up, they had some days where their catch was not the best, but they kept at it, and on the last day late in the afternoon landed their biggest halibut. We had several boats this week get their King Salmon limit. Always fun to see guests catching Kings Salmon. The Silver salmon have slowed a bit at Three Hill, it has been sunny the past few days, so maybe they have dropped or are doing something different. Hoping this next week they improve. The Orca came thru again this week many guests reported seeing them. One thing to keep in mind is that the skill level of fishermen vary greatly. Airlines are tough this year with delays, next year I would recommend coming in to Juneau a day early, it makes is less stressful.
