On the positive side of things — A heavy rain will put a lot of freshwater in the salt water, many times that gets the salmon moving to their spawning stream! So hopefully the rain will help us. We have actually had a really good nice stretch of nice weather so we are due for some weather.

Halibut remains to be strong. We had some new guys come in two days ago so this is their third day fishing and they have got a 100lb+ halibut on both days so far. The biggest for the year remains 226 lbs. We had a 155 lb this morning come in.

Pinks are still pretty thick, hoping they will slow down this coming week.

Silvers are now big in size and are starting to show up with more regularity. They are not quite to three hill yet, it still seems to be better fishing down by Yakobi Rock and Soapstone. Looking forward to this time of year, Silver Salmon fishing is tough to beat.
