Snow is all finally gone from the lower elevations. Amazing to see thos big piles of snow each day shrink and eventually dissapear. Lots of work going into getting ready. We have all the boats in the water and have moved them to their summer home in Elfin Cove. Still lots to do to get ready before the first guests arrive.
Weather has changed alot, no more freezing at night, one day it got up to 56 degrees, it felt so good.
Bringing the boats out went really good, we had good water on most of our trips out. Matt was in Juneau getting the boats ready with the help of Michael and Robert, my job was to launch the boats in Auke Bay, Dawson and Justen rigged the new boats and got them ready. When we had 5 boats ready Ward Air would fly to Elfin in the morning and get 5 boat drivers they would get off the plane and step into a boat and head for Elfin. Some of them it was their first time running a boat, was amazing to see them on their 2nd run, much more confident and more smiles.
