The BIG story continues to be the weather! We are experiencing a rare wonderful thing. Normally fall shows up mid August and we start getting fall storms and more wet weather. I think we are going on over 3 weeks now of calm warm dry weather. It has been just amazing to experience. Love it very much!
The Silver/Coho run is above average. We are still seeing very good hot fishing in front of Three Hill. The reports we are getting is that the bigger Coho and bigger sized schools are sill way out in the open ocean. My guess is that they are waiting for some rain. Once they smell the water from the stream they came out of there will be a big surge at Three Hill.
Halibut has slowed down, but we are still seeing a few now and again.
Very grateful for our crew, they have been working hard all summer and this last week they are still positive and working hard. Appreciate them very much!
