This past week was amazing for halibut fishing. Biggest for the week and for the lodge so far this summer was caught on Wednesday - 160 lb halibut. Dave and Anne caught and landed this giant halibut. Silvers are getting much better this week. Hots spots were south end of Three Hill for halibut and down the coast by Colby (Yakobi) rock for salmon. On Friday the red buoy did very well for halibut. Weather is getting better we had a few days of no rain and it is getting warmer.
