Sept 7 - 13 - 2014

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday were very slow. Just a few Silvers in each boat. Thursday was more normal a few boats got their limit and Friday was red hot, limits of Silvers. Halibut has really slowed down also. The weather this week was really good. I was worried the late weeks would be windy and lots of rain, but this past week was very calm. Amazing to see these salmon change to their spawning colors. The male Silvers are now turning a dull maroon color and a big hooked nose. I will do a review and final update of the fishing season on my way home. Time now to shut down the lodge and head south for the winter.
