Grandpas Secret Spot was the hot spot this week for Halibut. 3 right around 100 lbs. About half of the boats this week limited on Kings, they all came from down the coast around the Deer Harbor area, trolling around 130’ deep. in 200 feet of water.

At the beginning of the week we had some rough open ocean conditions but by the end of the week it was water ski type water. In Dundas Bay this week some of our guests were able to do some whale watching. A pod of Orca came through the area and put on quite the display.

On Saturday we took our first Catamaran ride in and it went great. It was nice to have some slow time to visit on the way in to Juneau.
