2018 Open Dates

Wow how time flies. It seems like yesterday we were in Sacramento at the ISE Show in January. Here it is March and yesterday I started loading the cargo trailer for the trip north. This year I plan to be in Elfin Cove by April 18th. At the Sacramento show I met a guy names Ed who builds custom rods. http://whopperstoppers.976-tuna.com - So I bought two rods a pink colored one for Mary and a green one for me. Hoping to test them out on some big halibut this year.

If there is anyone out there that wants to fish Halibut this year. I still have June 3rd and June 10th open. Both of these weeks would be great for Halibut. I also have the last week open for Silvers, halibut will be declining at this time. I realize that at this time for 2018 and 2019 space is becoming limited, if you are interested in fishing with us, please send me an email and let me see what I can figure out, we do have cancellations at times and depending on the group make up I can sometimes find a way to get you in. We are very appreciative of the support of our guests and we hope to again this summer live up to your expectations.

Mary and I are also starting to feel old. The community of Elfin Cove just hired a new fuel dock manager Japeth Rupp. Claire was one year old in Excursion Inlet when Japeth worked for us on the dock staff. His wife Jennie will be running the post office.
