May 26th Fishing Update

There is just something about going to sleep and listening to the rain on the roof? Last night it rained pretty hard. Should rain the rest of today. Kamree and Bruce arrived yesterday. Chris and Greg Peter came up to help with some projects, always grateful to those willing to help us out when we need it! They caught the first halibut of the year. Nik and I were able to go out one afternoon we stayed close and went to Casino. Nik got a nice small halibut. He was very excited. Fun to see him get excited about fishing. Trying to do more research on what the halibut are eating this summer. I am pretty sure this is a small rockfish. All of the other halibut so far have had empty stomachs. The guided lodges are all bringing in Kings can't wait till we can go get one!
